Training for journalists and CSO representatives

On May 16-17, at the American University of Armenia, within the project funded by the British Embassy in Yerevan, training for journalists and CSO representatives on mining transparency in public agenda took place.

During the event the EITI implementation activities in Armenia, issues related to the disclosure of beneficial owners, as well as the information to be reported by mining companies and state bodies were presented. The participants also got acquainted with the Armenian and international open data sources. The event was organized by the Media Initiatives Center.
